In April the Crouch Waterfall team enjoyed an activity weekend in the Black Mountains stretching their skills and challenging their physical abilities.
The following weekend saw Lee Kemp, Business Coordinator in the Godalming office, entering a multi terrain ultra endurance run along 53 miles of the West Highland Way. Out of 500 starters Lee triumphed, coming home first in a record breaking time of 7 hours 3 minutes.
”It was my first time running the Highland fling and the course was as tough as I had been told to expect. The scenery was absolutely stunning though. I had hoped to be a contender, so to win and be in with a shout of GB selection (for the IAU world ultra trail championships in Wales in July) is fantastic.”
