Hayle Viaduct Scaffold

Work is soon to begin on the refurbishment of the Hayle Viaduct in Cornwall following the design phase by Crouch Waterfall. The original viaduct is showing signs of ageing and is in desperate need of repair with the ballast boards, steel hand rails and deck timbers all in a very poor condition. This project is of a high profile nature due to the viaduct carrying the Penzance to Paddington main line.

This work is estimated to provide Network Rail with a 25 year period where no major maintenance will need to be carried out on it.
