The company is currently undertaking a complex 3D animated analysis of the landmark restaurant building at Warrior Square in Southend. The structure, winner of a design competition, features a security screen that lifts and unfolds to imitate petals on a flower. The extended petals provide a strong visual impact while offering shelter and shade to users of the building. AutoDESK Inventor software is being used to model and analyse the mechanics, stresses and fit of the structure’s moving ‘petals’.
