Paul Irvine – cycling

Paul Irvine, one of Crouch Waterfall’s Principal Engineers, recently participated in a charity bike ride cycling from London to Brighton for the British Heart Foundation. This version is a variation from the popular road ride and consists of nearly 75 miles of entirely off-road cycling combining cycle and forest paths.

Currently the ride is graded as a “grade 4” event by the British Heart Foundation due to its steep, rocky and challenging route with over 1500m of climb which reflects the scope of the challenge involved. Nonetheless, Paul still managed to finish the event in a very respectable 6 hours and 37 minutes.

Well done Paul! (Centre of picture)
